LaHabra Products begins manufacturing pre-blended exterior stucco and interior plaster.
1953
LaHabra Products builds largest stucco plant in United States to supply Disneyland and rapid growth in Anaheim, CA.
1966
LaHabra products reinvents the stucco industry with the introduction of user-friendly bases and separate color packs.
1968
El Rey Stucco begins manufacturing stucco in Albuquerque, NM.
1984
El Rey Stucco launches a second facility in Colorado Springs, CO.
1986
Parex Incorporated, started by Lafarge, begins manufacturing Parex Exterior Insulation Finishing Systems (EIFS) in Redan, GA.
1991
Parex Incorporated launches a second manufacturing facility in French Camp, CA.
1995
LaHabra Products unveils a new manufacturing facility in Riverside, CA.
2000
LaHabra Products is acquired by Lafarge Mortars, the same company that started Parex Incorporated.
2001
Lafarge sells Parex Incorporated and LaHabra Products to Materis, a worldwide manufacturer of construction products.
2002
El Rey Stucco Co. is acquired by Materis, the same company that owns Parex Incorporated and LaHabra Products.
2003
The LaHabra Products plant upgrade in Riverside, CA makes it the first high-speed high-volume, fully automated stucco manufacturing in the United States.
2005
Parex, LaHabra Products, and El Rey Stucco are merged together to create ParexLahabra, Inc., the largest façade manufacturer in the United States.
2006
TEIFS Wall Systems, located in Texas, is acquired by ParexLahabra, further strengthening ParexLahabra’s geographic and façade product line reach.
2007
ParexLahabra acquires Mer-Kote Products, which becomes Merkrete Systems.
2010
ParexLahabra, Inc. changes its name to Parex USA, Inc., Merkrete unveils a new brand campaign strategy.
2011
Elite Building Products, Inc. is acquired by Parex USA.
2016
Merlex Stucco is acquired by Parex USA.
